HAH’s birthday is right around the corner, and we’re turning three. We know they say it’s the terrible two’s, but, honestly, we keep getting more HAHt and dirty with every year (wink emoji). In classic HAH style, we’d like to start celebrating early by taking a look back at the past few years.
Talk about one HAHt night!
Back in 2015 we came out with an absolute bHAHng with our launch party at Soho Beach House in Miami. The party brought out all the top models such as Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman (Bikini A Day), Kyra Santoro, Shannon and Cait Barkerr, key bloggers including Olivia Lopez (Lust for Life) and top fashion photographers such as Jorden Keith. Guests were treated to electrifying tunes by DJ Alexandra Richards as they enjoyed libations by Peroni, Dobel Tequila and Whispering Angel. We also premiered our launch video Le Premiere MMXVI, which was projected against the wall of Ocho’s neighboring building so that everyone could experience the HAHtness that we were prepared to bring to them. The entire night was a success and showcased just how ready we were to bring Hot As Hell into the world.
Flash forward and take a look at our first Miami Swim Week. We didn’t know we would be in the show until less than ONE. WEEK. BEFORE. It took just about everything out of us, but the HAHtties pulled it off. Agreeing to pull together a show in under a week was hectic but, in the words of our ultimate babe, Elle Woods, we will always pick “the dangerous one, because [we’re] not afraid of a challenge”. HAH was dubbed a “brand to watch”, and we stunned the crowd with our seamless show, walking out to a remix of ‘Take A Walk On The Wild Side,’ recorded by model, singer, and brand muse Cailin Russo exclusively for HAH. The whole show had ultimate Hot As Hell, rock’n’roll vibes, debuting our sustainable fabrics and materials, which make HAH all the more sexy. The Titsy Top and Tinsi Bottom were a crowd favorite, along with others like the Yes Yes Yes dress. Finally, our founder Sharleen Ernster closed the show walking down the catwalk in a one-hundred-year-old kimono (damn girl), which inspired so much of our collection.
As we come up on our birthday, we are feeling super nostalgic and grateful looking back on the past years, everything we’ve accomplished, and everything we still have ahead of us. We couldn’t do it without any of our supporters though, who make this brand exactly what it’s called: Hot As Hell!
